Step into a world of enchantment with Joanna Abel’s Enchanted Creature Ball. This is the 6th year of this fantastical theatrical performance where a dazzling array of mythical beings are brought to life through creative choreography, breathtaking costumes, and storytelling.
Welcome to the heart of the Enchanted Realm where you’ll meet a graceful swan, a fierce harpy, mercenary satyrs, a mystical white stag, royal fae, and hypnotizing snakes.

Magical Music
Aidana Yntykbayeva (Kazakhstan) will play Kobyz, an ancient Kazakh instrument. Aidana will play two pieces of music. The second is inspired by the Kazakh Traditional Dance, "The Dance of the Swan." The sacred swan symbolizes beauty, grace, and purity.

Swan
Joanna Abel (Pittsburgh, PA) discovered her passion for dance nearly two decades ago and has been on fire ever since. tonight she will embody the elements of the pure and graceful swan.

Harpy
Barbara Brutt (Pittsburgh, PA) took her lifelong love of dance to the skies in 2016, and in 2020 she became an aerial teacher and performer. She loves nothing more than creating a story through aerial movement.
